Yesterday, I was required to create some Javascript functionalities using Prototype. It’s nothing out of ordinary, I was to create a page with 3 radio buttons and 1 select, depending on which button selected – the select will be enabled/disabled.

I have been reading Steve Krug’s Don’t Make Think – Common Sense Approach Usability and I can’t help to be a little bit critical on websites that I encountered (including the ones that I’ve built).
When I was attempting to download IE8 today, I’ve got into the download page and it took me few seconds to [...]

Well, I took the plunge, I registered for webDU 2009 (early bird registration ends today). Since starting working in ColdFusion, webDU is one of conferences that I’d love to come at least once in my life.
I am excited about it. Also there is going to be another ColdFusion related conference in Melbourne later this year: [...]

Trolling some ColdFusion blogs, I saw some of them use: SyntaxHighlighter which is a pure Javascript solution (not a WordPress plugin, so you’d need [...]

Downloaded some of them but couldn’t get them to work until I found an information on one of the downloads’ README file. Apparently to install a non-microsoft XP theme you need to patched [...]

Note to self: found out today that Todd Sharp has open sourced his application called iLearn. Also found out this sort of application is called Learning Management System.
Similar to what I am working on at the moment with cfexam, but obviously Todd’s one is functional .

When I boot into my home computer today, I noticed an Adobe updater windows pops up, I clicked install all. There were some errors reported but I choose to ignore them and continue with the install. Now I am not sure the series of dialog windows that came next were actually caused by Adobe update [...]
